This unique potato dish is cooked in the oven layered with bacon, cheese and creamy butter plus ranch dressing on top!
|
|
INGREDIENTS
1 pound Bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
15 medium Red or Baking Potatoes (peeled or skin on), quartered
Canola Cooking Spray
Salt, Pepper, and Garlic Salt, to taste
1 stick (1/2 cup) Butter. sliced into 20 pats
3 cups Shredded Colby-Jack Cheese
Dried Parsley Flakes, to garnish
1 16-oz. bottle Buttermilk Dressing or Bacon Ranch Dressing

DIRECTIONS
- Fry the bacon in a skillet and remove the oil once done. Set it aside.
- Boil the quartered potatoes using the stick pot wait until the potatoes are tender. Let it dry once done.
- Using the cooking spray, lightly coat the lower part of the baking pan. Arrange fifty percent of the potatoes. Season it with salt ad pepper plus garlic for a more tasty result. Repeat the process with the other half.
- Arrange another set and top with cheese. You may use the flakes of parsley for garnishing. Bake it in the preheated oven for twenty minutes or just until you see the cheese melting.
- You may add your choice of dressing in a bottle once you serve the dish. Cut the dish into nine equal squares.
- Makes 9 servings.
