    Baked Bacon and Egg Recipe

    This recipe of eggs, Swiss cheese, bacon, onion and milk requires ahead of time preparation. If preferred, prepare it in the morning for a great brunch serving.

    INGREDIENTS

    1 dozen eggs (12 eggs)
    1 Cup milk
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
    2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
    6 slices bacon, fried, and crumbled into small pieces
    1/4 cup sweet onion or green onion, chopped fine

    Baking Equipment Needed:
    9" x 13" glass baking dish, sprayed with non-stick cooking spray
    small bowl for melting butter
    large mixing bowl
    whisk or wooden mixing spoon

    DIRECTIONS

    • Prepare oven to 350 degrees F settings.
    • Whisk eggs and combine it well with milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and cayenne and pepper. Add melted butter, stirring it well over the mixture.
    • Coat a glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Transfer the mixture into the dish and top with crumbled bacon and chopped onion.
    • Place it into the preheated oven to bake for 15 minutes.
    • Lift the eggs with a spoon and turn carefully. Add Swiss cheese on top and bake for another 45 minutes.
