TART SHELLS
*1 cup butter
*4 tsp icing sugar, confectioner’s
*2 cup flour
FILLING
*2 cup dates, chopped
*1 1/2 cup brown sugar water
*1 lemon juice
DIRECTIONS
For the Tart Shells, start by cutting butter into flour. Add sugar and blend well through kneading. Press a little amount of batter onto the muffin tins.
Place them into the oven to bake at 425 degrees for about 10 minutes. Let it cool before applying the fillings.
For the fillings, simmer all the filling ingredients together until the dates becomes soft. Let it cool and stuff into the tart shells. Apply the butter icing.
