A good cook is the peculiar gift of the gods. He must be a perfect creature from the brain to the palate, from the palate to the finger's end.

This is not your usual fried chicken recipe. It’s absolutely more delicious and flavorful.

    INGREDIENTS

4 cups vegetable oil for frying
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon white pepper
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    3 eggs
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
4 (4 ounce) beef tenderloin fillets, pounded thin

    2 links pork sausage
    3 tablespoons butter
    3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 cups heavy cream
salt and black pepper to taste

    DIRECTIONS

    • In a deep-fryer or large saucepan, heat oil to 350 degrees F.
    • Meanwhile, mix a cup of flour, 1 teaspoon salt, white pepper and garlic powder in a bowl. Use another bowl to combine the eggs with garlic and parsley.
    • Dip the fillet one by one into the seasoned flour then into the egg mixture and back into the flour mixture. Shake to remove excess flour.
    • Cook two pieces of steaks at a time for about 6 minutes, turning once or until evenly golden brown. Transfer into a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
    • Heat a small skillet over medium heat and cook the sausages for about 10 minutes or until evenly dark brown. Chop the sausage to a fine texture and reserve.
    • Using the same skillet, melt butter and mix in 3 tablespoons of flour. Cook for a minute or until mixture is light beige in color. Mix in the sausage, cream, salt and black pepper. Allow mixture to simmer and cook for about 5 minutes or until thick.
    • Serve fried steaks with sauce poured on top.
