Here’s an easy recipe to try when surprised with unexpected guests for dinner.
INGREDIENTS
3 cups (6 ounces) FRENCH’S® Original or Cheddar French Fried Onions
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
6 (1/2-inch thick) bone-in or boneless pork chops, season with salt and pepper to taste
1 egg, beaten
DIRECTIONS
Put the French fried onions and flour in a plastic bag. Crush gently by hand or using a rolling pin and place on a pie plate when done.
Dip chops first into the beaten egg and then into the onion crumbs. Transfer chops onto a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes at 400 degrees F.
