This is a great recipe to try especially over the weekends. Enjoy this with the family and have a fillilng and tasty gathering.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb. ground ham
1 lb. ground pork
2/3 c. cracker crumbs
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. evaporated milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. powdered thyme
1/3 c. minced onion
1 C. brown sugar
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard
DIRECTIONS
Use an electric mixer to combine ham, pork, cracker crumbs, eggs, milk, salt, thyme and onion. Divide mixture into 16 even portions. Shape each mixture into a ball and arrange onto an 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
In a saucepan, mix brown sugar, vinegar and mustard. Bring it to a boil over medium-high heat settings.
Pour ham balls with syrup and bake for about an hour at a 350 degrees F preheated oven.
