INGREDIENTS
1 pound bulk pork sausage
1 egg
1/2 cup saltine cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
DIRECTIONS
Mix sausage, egg, crumbs, milk and sage into a bowl, combining thoroughly. Shape mixture into inch sized balls.
Heat skillet and add the meatballs, cooking over medium heat until browned. Drain well.
In a separate bowl, mix all the remaining ingredients together. Transfer into the skillet and cook until boiling. Adjust heat to low. Simmer dish covered for about 20 minutes.
