This makes a complete meal and a perfect dinner for the whole family to enjoy.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb. thinly sliced roast beef
1 can beef broth
1 whole onion, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 small can sliced mushrooms
3 tablespoons Wondra flour
2 tablespoons ketchup
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. each salt and pepper
DIRECTIONS
Boil beef broth in a medium saucepan. Add onion and garlic powder, ketchup, minced garlic and sliced onion. Continue heating until it comes to a rolling boil. Add the sliced roast beef and remove pan from heat.
After 3 minutes, remove the roast beef and bring broth back to the stove. Set heat to high and sprinkle top with Wondra flour. Stir until lumps have been dissolved.
Simmer broth at medium heat for about 4 minutes. Add the drained mushrooms, simmering for another minute. Pour broth onto roast beef set over white bread. Add thinly sliced tomato or some lettuce leaves (optional). Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve.
