It’s all in the marinade. This recipe makes a delicious serving that will surely leave you craving for more.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
3 tablespoons finely grated fresh ginger
2 1/2 pounds boneless, short ribs
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 bunch green onions, ends trimmed
Peanut oil
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1 teaspoon honey
2 teaspoons sesame oil
2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1 bunch fresh mint leaves, mizuna or watercress

DIRECTIONS
- Combine soy, oil, garlic and 2 tablespoons of the ginger in a baking dish. Add ribs and coat well with the mixture. Cover and leave it marinating while in the refrigerator for 30 minutes but preferably longer.
- Set the grill to high heat. Add salt and pepper to ribs then grill for about 8 minutes, turning once.
- Brush oil over onions and add seasonings of salt and pepper. Place it over the grill to cook for about 6 minutes, turning once.
- In a large bowl, stir vinegar with the remaining tablespoon of ginger, honey, sesame oil and olive oil. Add salt and pepper for seasoning. Add coarsely chopped green onions, mint leaves and mizuna/or watercress. Toss until coated.
