INGREDIENTS
1 tsp rubbed sage
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 (5 pounds) boneless pork loin
½ cup sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
¼ cup vinegar
¼ cup water
2 tbsp soy sauce

DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven at 325°F (165°C)
- Mix sage, salt, pepper and garlic in a bowl. Rub the mixture all over the pork. Lay the pork into a roasting or baking dish and place it inside the preheated oven. Baking is approximately about 3 hours, or until the oven temperature reaches at least 145°F (63°C), depending on the desired finish.
- In the meantime, get a small saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, water and soy sauce. Put it into medium heat and stir occasionally until mixture is slightly thicken. At the last ½ hour of cooking of pork, brush the roast with glaze for at least 3 to 4 times. Removed from baking. Place the roasted pork into the serving plate and pour over the remaining glaze mixture. Serve.
