INGREDIENTS
2 pounds Italian sausage
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup chunky applesauce
1 onion, chopped
DIRECTIONS
Turn the oven on to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Cook sausage in a large skillet until browned. Drain the sausage and cut into bite size portions. Place this into a small casserole dish and mix in the brown sugar, applesauce and onion.
Bake for about 45 minutes and prepare to serve with wooden picks on the side.
