This recipe comes with an option that would suit people with fearless palate, adding jalapeno peppers.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb. ground beef
1-1/2 c. water
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 large onion, chopped
15 oz. can reduced sodium kidney beans
15 oz. can reduced sodium black beans
7 oz. can diced green chilies
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 c. chili powder
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 (14.5 oz) cans no-salt-added diced tomatoes
1-2 chopped jalapeno peppers (optional, if you like it hot)
DIRECTIONS
In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Transfer into the slow cooker, adding all the other ingredients as well.
