This is one of the recipe that makes my husband love me more! His favorite side dishes for this are buttered egg and noodles plus peas.
INGREDIENTS
1 large onion, sliced
2 1/2 pounds boneless pork loin roast
1 cup hot water
1/4 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon ketchup
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 dash hot pepper sauce, or to taste
DIRECTIONS
Place the slices of onions at the lower part of the cooker and arrange the roast over the onion you have just prepared. By using a deep dish, combine the remaining ingredients and pour the mixture all over the roast.
Put a lid over the roast and allow cooking for about six-eight hours if your heat is low. If you prefer it on high heat, you may cook it for three to four hours.
