Pork chops are one of the more traditional recipes that we have grown to love. Here is one way of appreciating these classic recipes even more: by trying out a different recipe for it.
INGREDIENTS
• 1kg/2¼lb purple or Desirée potatoes, peeled and halved
• sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 4 pork chops, skin removed but kept
extra virgin olive oil
• 1 small handful of fresh thyme, leaves picked
• 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
• 10 bay leaves
• 285ml (1/2 pint) cider
• 1 tablespoon wholegrain mustard
• 4 tablespoons crème fraîche
• 2 knobs of butter
DIRECTIONS
Marinate the pork chops using all the ingredients in this recipe. Allow the pork chops to soak thoroughly over night.
Set the heat of the oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Heat the pan and cook the pork chops. After cooking the pork chops, out it in a baking pan, Add in the rest of the ingredients of this recipe to that pan as well.
Bake the dish for an hour. Serve immediately and enjoy!
